otivation- Rally behind a coworker, friend, or family member who is a breast cancer survivor or co-survivor. Fight a disease that is a major health concern for women. Spread the message that, when detected early, breast cancer is over 95% curable.
In 2008, the United States will have seen more than 180,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer among women and men, with more than 40,480 deaths from breast cancer. There will have been 1,990 men diagnosed and 450 deaths among men from breast cancer as well. We can’t continue to accept this. We must act! We must encourage other to act — with their feet, with their voices, and with their dollars.
