Fundraising for the Cure

For 2009, North Central Alabama Race for the Cure will be giving away an American Airlines Round trip Ticket to the Top Fundraiser.  The person who raises the most dollars.  (Deadline for awards is October 1st to the Komen Office at the American Cancer Society building.) [Directions]  Top Award winners will be recognized on stage during the Awards Ceremony of the North Central Alabama Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  The winner does  not have to be present at the Awards Ceremony to win the award.

 

New for 2009 a Komen Campus Cruiser Bike Giveaway…..  

If you are passionate about Susan G. Komen for the Cure, this bike is for you.  The Komen Cruiser is passionately pink through and through.  It’s a joyful expression of your commitment to this special cause.  Every feature on the bike was designed to capture the Komen spirit – the stylized Alloy K head badge, the streaming ribbons on the top and down tubes, of course the customized pink ribbons on the fenders.  We will be giving away two bikes this year.

One bike will be given to the Second Top Fundraiser during the Awards Ceremony of the North Central Alabama Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  Do not have to be present to win the award.  

Your registration for the 2009 Race for the Cure in Birmingham also enters you to win a Komen Campus Cruiser Bicycle courtesy of Cahaba Cycle.  The Komen Bike Giveaway winner will be randomly selected during the Awards Ceremony of the North Central Alabama Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  The winner does  not have to be present at the Awards Ceremony to receive the award.
