Q: How do I get started as a Team Captain?

Q: Do I have to Register for the Race to be on a Team?
A:  Yes, each participant that wants to be on a Team, needs to Register for the Race.  If you do not want to Run or Walk the race you can “Sleep In for the Cure”. 

Q: I seem to be having issues with re-sizing my Teams Page?
A:  Try using Modzilla or Foxfire as your web browser vs Internet Explore. we have noticed some issues latley and we are working with the vendor currently”.

Q: When/ Where is the Race?
A:The 2010Race for the Cure will be held Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Linn Park in Birmingham, AL. [Directions]

Q: What type of events will be offered?
A: We’ll have a 5k (3.1 mile) walk/run, 1 mile walk, and a special survivors walk.

Q: Do I have to run?
A: No, you can walk, run, hang-out, or sleep-in.  Just register.

Q:  When do I have to have my Team Race Registration & Donations turned in?
A:  Team Registrations & Donations need to be turned into the Komen Office by  Mondy, September 27th.    [Check Here for Key Dates to remember about Teams]

Q:  Where do I pickup my Race Packet ?
A:  October 4th  - 8th – 10:00am – 6:00pm

Team Captains with a team of 10 or more  members will need to pick up All their members Packets at the Teams Packet Pickup location at Brookwood Village Mall.  Teams of less then 10  members, the Team Captain or individual  members will pick up their packets from the “Individual” Packet Pickup at  Colonial Brookwood Village Mall.

Q: Are there any parking tips?
A: Yes, come early and carpool.  Additional parking information will be available at Team Packet pick-up and on our website.   [Directions]

Q: What about strollers, pets, and in-line skates?
A: Strollers are permitted.  Children in strollers that are not registered for the race must remain in the stroller and are not permitted to walk on the race course. For the safety of all, pets and skates are not permitted.

Q: What happens if it rains?

Q: Can you guarantee T-Shirt sizes?
